Workforce research reinforces the fundamental value of mentoring and the measurable impact of one-on-one coaching.  The IWVMentor model is designed to engage a cross section of veteran and civilian mentors who provide insights, advice and encouragement to steer women veterans and military/veteran spouses on individualized courses of action in the civilian workplace.  Program participants enter the IWVMentor Program as members seeking access to tools, resources or one-to-one confidential guidance, with the flexibility to change their status as needed/desired.

IWVMentor Program connects Female Veteran Mentees with Mentors for a year-long mentorship.  Paired based on their career objectives and professional experience, Mentors and Mentees define the goals of their mentorship together and focus on a successful transition from the military to the civilian workforce.

Leveling the Playing Field for Women Veterans

It's about leveraging the resources we currently have to walk veterans into jobs. We are committed to using the connections we have and building on them to ensure women veterans are the first line of selection.

Training Women Veterans in basic job search skills

Providing basic job search techniques, resume and cover letter assistance, career coaching, recruiter selection, interviewing skills, and negotiating workshops to build confindence in women veterans that are actively seeking employment in the open market.

Supplying Homeless Women Veterans with essential daily necessities for introduction back into the workforce

Providing daily essentials CarePacs to homeless women veterans as we encourage and engage them.

Providing Mentoring and Support to boost Self Esteem
